Crossover Nordic will bring together Nordic independent artists, writers, filmmakers, animators, game designers and new media producers with the aim of developing innovative digital and interactive projects that embrace the growth of broadband and other emerging distribution platforms.
Twenty experienced and established professionals from different sectors of the Nordic audio-visual industries will be selected by an expert committee to engage in a five days, rapid development ‘laboratory' at an all-inclusive residential retreat on the Swedish West Coast, in Västra Götaland, Sweden from the 15-19 September. More information about the lab and applications can be found by visiting the official website for Crossover Nordic.
The lab will be led by world-leading mentor Frank Boyd of Unexpected Media and all participants will work in different groups, alongside international experts on the development of project pitches for groundbreaking cross platform interactive projects.
A final pitch of the ideas developed in the lab will be held during the Nordisk Panorama in Malmö on the 28th of September. The pitch will take place in front of a panel of commissioners from different media sectors and one of the groups projects are eligible to win a development prize of 100 000SEK.
In conjunction to the pitch at Nordisk Panorama a seminar about cutting-edge crossover media projects will be held the 27th of September. The seminar, developed by Karolina Ledin and arranged by Nordisk Panorama, is called PostTVMedia and you can read more about it here.
Applications are now open. Visit the official website for Crossover Nordic to apply.
