Do you love documentaries and short fiction films?

Then we can offer you access to a goldmine of Nordic films as a voluntary film reviewer at Nordisk Panorama Film Festival.

We want you to be part of our programme team, which will watch and review the 600 titles submitted to Nordisk Panorama Film Festival during from February to May.

Nordisk Panorama is the oldest and most important film festival for Nordic films and we are preparing the programme for next year’s festival held in Malmö from September 21 – 26.

Our programmers need your reviews of the films to select the very best Nordic films for the festival programme. You will be watching, rating and commenting on the films you see and take part in discussions with the programmers. And once the Program manager has made the final selection, we might ask you to write passionate texts about them for our audience catalogue.

You will be able to watch and review the films whenever you want during the day and night. We give you access to the films online and you also deliver your comments online. Physical meetings in the programme team will take place from time to time.

Get in touch with us if you have an interest in Nordic culture and films and like to work independently, use your analytical skills and to express yourself fluently in English.

Familiarity with the Scandinavian languages is a plus, as we’re a Scandinavian team.

The position is unpaid, but we give you free access to a goldmine of Nordic films. If local transportation is needed to attend meetings, we will cover the expenses. You will also be invited as an accredited guest to the festival in September with 900 other film professionals from more than 30 countries, and your dedicated work will be highly appreciated.

Sound interesting? Send us maximum one page about yourself in English and let us know when and how much you would like to watch and review, and in which time period. We are looking for at least a 50 hours commitment from you and would love to get more.

Apply with your one-pager to before February 1st, including  your motivation, skills and your experience with documentaries / short films. And be ready to start as soon as possible after February 15th.
