NORWAY IN FOCUS

Nordisk Panorama Film Festival wants you to explore the uniqueness of each of the countries within the Nordic family. So every year we put our ears to the ground of one of the Nordic countries to explore what is happening in this particular country in this particular year. This year’s festival offers a special focus on Norway and brings Norwegian films and filmmakers some extra limelight.

We are opening the festival with Norwegian film Magnus, we host our annual session “Our Dinner With” with the renowned Norwegian film director Aslaug Holm inviting you and the writer Åsa Linderborg for dinner. We dive into the heart of terrorism in the Masterclass by Paul S. Refsdal, director of the competition documentary Dugma – The Button, which offers unbelievable access to the inner thoughts of the suicide bombers of Al-Qaida. And this was just a brief summary. In 2016 we have Norwegian for breakfast, dinner and at midnight!

In cooperation with: The Norwegian Film Institute and the regional Norwegian Film centres, Film Reg and The Norwegian Film School
