Doc Forward Workshop

The first part of the Doc Forward 2025 workshop was held in Helsinki 3 – 5 February. What an incredible group of inspiring and engaged filmmakers and producers! We are already looking forward to the second part of the workshop in May in Oslo, which will conclude with the projects pitching to Nordic film commissioners and commissioning editors from film institutes and broadcasters, followed by individual meetings.

12 Nordic projects of high quality and with international potential have been selected to be developed at the workshop and secure their first Nordic/international launch. Find out more about these amazing projects via our website here.

Meet Us at Upcoming Festivals

Tempo Documentary Festival. NP Festival Producer Ylva Skarsgård as well as Forum Manager Lena Nitsch will be attending the festival in Stockholm taking place 3 – 9 March.

Tampere Film Festival. From 6 – 9 March Market Manager, Maria Stoianova and Head of Industry Lea Maria Strandbæk Sørensen, will be attending the festival and host the traditional NP Vodka Hour. Hope you will join us on Friday 7 March at 16.00.

M:Brane. Head of Industry Lea Maria Strandbæk Sørensen will check out the new projects at the kids financing forum from 11 – 13 March in Malmö.

BUFF. The international children’s film festival will celebrate their 42th edition from 15 – 21 March and NP Festival Producer Ylva Skarsgård will join the events.

East Doc Platform and One World Film Festival. From 16 – 19 March Forum Manager Lena Nitsch will attend this years industry event for documentaries in Prague which takes place in association with the One World Film Festival. Festival Producer Ylva Skarsgård will attend the One World Film Festival from 15 – 17 March.

CPH:DOX. You will find the whole team in attendance for the international documentary film festival in Copenhagen 19 – 30 March. We hope to catch up with a lot of new and familiar faces.
