The Boyg
Bøygen
Peer Gynt: Who are you? - The Boyg: Myself. Can you say the same? In Henrik Ibsen's epic poem Peer Gynt, based on a Norwegian fairy tale, The Boyg is the voice within us that whispers "detour". A cold spirit of inertia, blocking our path, a coiling constrictor that suffocates progress and initiative. A short film inspired by epic poetry, Erik Hedin's reworking of Edvard Grieg's Peer Gynt score, and the great Boyg itself, who discovers us all.
