She is not there. Not to begin with. All we can see is a small, yellow dot in the middle of a green lawn. A yellow, shining dot. An aerial view of the centre of the universe. We keep our bird's-eye view throughout-a stubborn, unflinching view. Then they come rushing in from all angles. They all want to touch the ball. But the ball lies still, while the earth moves under them in rough, nauseating movements. Such stubbornness! "Go for the ball, not the girl", they say. The photographer has done just that.
