Burning Memories
Brennende minner
The story of the war child, in different times. Six people who became refugees in their own country in 1944 meet refugee children living in the far north of Norway today. The film examines the trauma endured by 70,000 Norwegian civilians during the Second World War - chased from their homes and returning at the end of the war to nothing but scorched earth. The film links Norway’s unknown war history to the world of today.
