Little Wooden Boy
Pinoccio i Hollywood
Life as an apprentice in the American cartoon industry must have been a mixed pleasure for Danish cartoonist Jørgen Klubien. In this film, he returns in animated state as the protagonist in his own version of Pinocchio, the naïve wooden boy who falls into the hands of the ruthless Stromboli. Klubien’s autobiographical, satirical cartoon is about the abyss that separates the Danish boy’s dream from the reality of the dream factory assembly line.
