The Girl and the Boat Engine

A love-story between a red-haired girl in a wheel chair and a small, chronically misfiring boat engine. They fall in love when the girl’s drunken father tries to repair the motor, not noticing the pain he causes it. One day he comes home and tells the girl that the boat has sunk. Desperate, the girl decides to leave home.
