Two fifteen-year-old girl cousins, Iben and Sanne, are spending their summer holiday with their aunt, the owner of a dilapidated Eastern European spa. Their eccentric aunt’s life is sustained by memories; Iben and Sanne are eager and hungry for life. They discover Felix, a young man who has pitched a tent in the large, overgrown park. All three women are drawn to Felix. While the aunt remains trapped in memories and Sanne begins to play with the idea of romance, Iben casts herself into a secretive, new world of longing and intimacy, love and separation.
