Holmqvist first met Sahra when she was 14 years old, living in a refugee camp in Somalia. War between Ethiopia and Somalia had forced hundreds of thousands of Somalis to take refugee in Somalia. “In my language the word ‘refugee’ is almost a word of abuse. But refugee is what I have been called for more than 20 years,” Sahra explains when they meet again.
