The Purified
De lutrede
Four Danish film directors form a brotherhood, swearing solemnly to uphold ten rules, ‘Dogme’, that made it impossible to make films in the conventional way. Jesper Jargil documents the making of films according to this vision. He then confronts the directors with the results, which are not always in accordance with the spirit of Dogme. This is a unique record of a major epoch in the history of cinema.
