Strip
Strip
In 1966, a group of young Swedish filmmakers made a short documentary about everyday life in a Soho strip club in London. But Swedish television didn’t dare broadcast the film, fearing a storm of indignation from moralists. The film was left in the archives. One of the original filmmakers, Staffan Lamm, has now rescued and re-edited the film, giving it an extra dimension. Time has finally caught up with the film, which was acclaimed as the ‘television event of 2001’.
