A film crew sets out on an expedition around the world to investigate the "search for fulfillment" in different cultures. It represents a kaleidoscope of know and unknown people, captured in a moment on earth. Filmed in Japan, Hongkong, Nepal, Denmark, Poland, Norway, Mexico, Mali and USA. The film counts world famous explorer Thor Heyerdahl, astronaut Edgar Mitchell and is narrated by Max von Sydow.
