Prize of the Pole
Prize of the Pole
A documentary story unfolds in the tension between Robert E. Peary, the American who spent 23 years among the Inuits in attempts to conquer the North Pole, and Minik, sole survivor of six Inuits that Peary exhibited in New York in 1897. In contemporary footage, the young Inuit Robert E. Peary II, a great-grandson of the explorer, traces his ancestor's route from Greenland to America.
