Nashi is a political youth organization in Russia. Its goal is to support the current political system but also to keep the opposition from spreading its views. A young Nashi commissar, Masha, becomes friends with critical journalist Kashin. When Kashin is attacked by 'unknown perpetrators' she has to choose.
