All of Our Heartbeats Are Connected Through Exploding Stars
With the 2011 tsunami as backdrop, this is an essay on grief and on how humans and nature rebuild after trauma. From the shores of Japan where Sachiko, Yasu and Satoko find ways to accept their loss, the action shifts thousands of metres below sea level where new life forms thrive, then to one of the Hawaiian islands where volunteers gather to clear a beach from tsunami debris.
