Black Peak - A War Story

In a military cemetery in Reykjavik are six gravestones with the names of the crew of an RAF Wellington bomber. In 1941 it crashed into Black Peak Mountain in the Snæfellsnes Peninsula in west Iceland. Only four bodies were recovered. A story of how the Second World War impacted peaceful Eyrarsveit county and how the legend of the RAF crew and their bomber lives on after more than 70 years.
