THIS IS NORDISK PANORAMA
Never been to Nordisk Panorama? Let us tell you what the fuss is all about! Nordisk Panorama is an annual film festival hosted in Malmö, Sweden. We offer both our festival audience and film industry professionals the very best of new Nordic shorts and documentaries, alongside a vibrant range of events. To those of you who have never visited us before, here are the basics!

THE SHORT STORY
Nordisk Panorama is a non-profit organisation representing the Nordic filmmakers’ perspectives on the world through documentary and short fiction films. Nordisk Panorama Film Festival is the annual flagship of Nordic documentaries and short films. Since 1990 the festival has screened the best Nordic short films and documentaries in our competitions and special programmes, awarding the very best Nordic documentaries and short films with great prizes.
FILMS
Every September, Malmö becomes the home of Nordic film. Nordisk Panorama offers both the general public and film professionals front-row access to the most exciting new Nordic short films and documentaries. From captivating public screenings to industry-leading seminars, pitch sessions, and networking events, it’s six days packed with inspiration and great stories.

MORE THAN FILM
We don’t just screen short films and documentaries – we also offer a wide range of events! We create vibrant audiovisual experiences in cinemas, streets, art halls, libraries, museums, clubs, and yet-unheard-of screening venues across Malmö, presenting them to a unique mix of filmmakers and the public. Every year, we host an array of festive gatherings, from our official launch party to lively nights at our festival bar, Brogatan. Everyone is welcome, even without a festival ticket. Many of our events are completely free, and trust us: you don’t want to miss out!
PUP CRAWL CINEMA
Drinks and films? A match made in Malmö! Join us for a leisurely pub crawl where every stop offers more than just a refreshing pint. See a hand-picked funny short film at each new venue where we’ll transform familiar watering holes into pop-up cinemas. The perfect blend of local atmosphere, great company and fresh cinematic discoveries. It’s completely free, open to everyone with or without a festival ticket. Cheers to that!
Pub Crawl Cinema is organised in collaboration with RåFILM, a Swedish collective of filmmakers that connect film and activism.
