This collection begins with the beautifully filmed Icelandic short Sara, a masterclass in evocative storytelling through minimal dialogue, portraying a father and son burying their dog. The theme of absence continues with I Felt I Had to Be Here, a film that navigates the complexities of dark humour at a young person’s wake where opinions diverge.
