Festival Interns at Nordisk Panorama Film Festival
Do you love short films and documentaries? Do you have a burning passion for planning events or communication and love working with people? Then we’d love for you to be part of the Nordisk Panorama Film Festival team 2025.
We’re looking to fill the following positions:
May-September, Malmö (part time)
- Outreach Intern – Research and engage with both new and existing audience groups (such as university courses, associations, and institutions), and match films from the festival programme to align with their respective interests.
July-September, Malmö
- Festival Interns – Planning and producing the festival.
- Communication Interns – Working with social media content, text production, photography/video, graphic design, and web.
July-September, Malmö and Copenhagen
- Guest Intern – Welcoming our community of 900 film professionals, and creating the best experience possible for our audience as well as industry professionals.
As part of our intern team you will assist our managers and coordinators in the day to day work, giving you a 360 ° perspective of what it takes to build a film festival, as well as insight into the film industry.
You’ll be part of a team with high ambitions and an informal and collaborative atmosphere. The film festival includes events and experiences engaging the audience: seminars and Q&As with directors and producers around films, innovative experiences and much more.
The festival programme is brand new every year, and your creative input is important in the development of events as well as their execution. If you’re a quick learner, able to juggle different tasks, and have an eye for details, you’ll fit right into our team.
Formalities
The 36th edition of Nordisk Panorama Film Festival is held in Malmö 18-23 September 2025. The festival also includes a co-financing forum and a film market for the Nordic and international film industry. Nordisk Panorama has two offices, one in Malmö, Sweden and one in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The intern positions are unpaid, but we promise you challenging tasks, team support and a guaranteed steep learning curve. We’re primarily looking for interns in the periods stated above and ideally you can work with us full time or almost full up until after the festival in September, but we’re flexible with the duration and time frame of the internships.
