Perspectives on Nordic and Baltic Funding, Distribution and Co-production

Filmmakers across the Nordic and Baltic region face similar challenges in financing, distribution, and co-production. Support structures exist, but they are evolving—and in some countries, they are under significant pressure.

The documentary associations of Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania are now planning a joint initiative across the region to improve conditions—or at least to prevent further setbacks. The aim is to foster an open exchange: What is working today? Where are the gaps? What threats are we facing? And how can we strengthen co-production and distribution opportunities across borders? Join this think tank session to work together!
