Meeting Halldis
Møte med Halldis
The great Norwegian poet Halldis Moren Vesaas (1907-1995) reads 22 of her own poems in a performance at The Norwegian Theatre; from her first collection in 1929 to her last written in the winter of 1995. Between scenes from the performance, she tells us about her own life and relates this to her poetry. To quote her: “The poet’s source is life itself.”
