The War Show

In March 2011, radio host Obaidah Zytoon and his friends join the protest against the oppressive regime in Syria. The group of artists and activists start filming their lives. But as the regime’s violent response precipitates the country into a bloody civil war, their hope for a better future is challenged by violence, imprisonment and death. Obaidah travels around the country and witnesses the rise of extremism. A road movie that captures the fate of Syria through the intimate lens of a small circle of friends.
