The French Delegation

NORDISK PANORAMA FORUM

FIPADOC and Nordisk Panorama Forum are partnering to strengthen co-production ties between France and the Nordic countries.

Every year, Nordisk Panorama Forum welcomes a specially invited delegation of producers from a guest territory to facilitate connections outside the Nordic countries. This year, FIPADOC leads a delegation of selected producers from France to Nordisk Panorama Forum for Co-financing of Documentaries in Malmö, Sweden.

Most importantly, the delegation producers will participate in the event Producers Meet Producers, where they will meet their Nordic colleagues, present themselves, network, and outline their production landscape. They will learn more about how to co-produce with the Nordic countries.

The delegation producers:

  • will attend the Producers Meet Producers networking event on Sunday 24 September, featuring snappy presentations, tailored match-making and round table discussions.
  • have applied to present their projects alongside Nordic colleagues. Selected French teams will be included in the lineup of featured projects.
  • will have observer access at this otherwise Nordic financing forum.
  • will have full access to festival screenings, seminars and events.

Furthermore Nordisk Panorama Forum welcomes a number of commissioning editors and sales agents from the guest territory to the pitching and meeting tables.

NORDISK PANORAMA MARKET

In 2021 the delegation collaboration was extended to include short films as well.  We have partnered with Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival to strengthen co-production ties within short films between France and the Nordic countries.

The delegation will consist of up to five, invited, short film producers from different production companies in the delegation country who will be observers at Nordisk Panorama and The Nordic Short film Pitch.

The delegation producers will take part in a Pitch Lab with an international tutor, expert round tables and presentation of Nordic funding schemes and up to two projects will be selected to The Nordic Short Film Pitch alongside the Nordic projects.

Nordisk Panorama will welcome a number of industry representatives from the guest territory to the Market events.
