In a mining town in the north part of Sweden we witness a melancholic, humorous and sometimes absurd last epoch of a place. Cracks in time have emerged due to the resources beneath the ground and the past seems reluctant to let go of the people who still wander on its battered body. An elegy for Malmberget, a town dissolving back into the earth from which it was built.
