We follow the midwives in Aabenraa as they assist expectant parents in what may be the greatest moment of their lives, but also one in which they must deal with difficult and life-threatening situations. It takes a lot to give so much of yourself every day. We explore the strength, professionalism and tremendous care required – and the difficult dilemmas faced – in facilitating the life-changing moment when a new life begins.
