By Train/Bus

Coming From Abroad

  • From Germany (Hamburg & Berlin): Direct services like the Snälltåget sleeper train or Deutsche Bahn ICE/EC trains run to Malmö or Copenhagen. The journey from Hamburg takes roughly 5 to 6 hours.
  • From the UK: The most popular route is taking the Eurostar from London St Pancras to Brussels or Paris, transferring to Germany, and continuing north through Hamburg. Total transit time is roughly 15 to 18 hours
  • A good website to look at when travelling from Europe is the Trainline as they are able to connect different traincompanies and journeys in one app.
  • By bus we would recommend Flixbus as they service many countries and have many good options.

Within Sweden

  • Travelling by train is an easy alternative because you reach the centre of Malmö without the need of any connecting transport. There are a number of train companies to choose from: SJ, Snälltåget to name a few.
  • If you want to go via bus Swebus is a good option.

  • By scooter – a swedish favorite, these scooters get you fast to and from your destination. There are a few to choose from, here in no particular order, Voi, Lime, (this one can also be booked through the Uber app), Ryde, Bolt.

Taxi

Make sure to let the company know if you need an accessible taxi or a kids carseat, as they are very helpful when given advance warning.
