Festival in Review

This year’s edition of Nordisk Panorama Film Festival proved once again to be a major attraction, drawing both local audiences and members of the Nordic documentary and short film community to Malmö. The six-day festival featured sold-out film screenings, packed seminars and industry events, and even a punk concert – alongside numerous other social gatherings open to the public.

We were delighted to welcome over 800 accredited guests and witnessed a steadily growing local audience – not only in the cinemas, but also at our festival centre at Panora and at concerts and performances across the city. This year’s programmers once again surpassed expectations with a remarkable selection of 76 documentaries and short films. Featuring must-see award winners and emerging Nordic voices, the programme showcased the rich talent thriving within Nordic documentary and short filmmaking. A total of 57 films were screened in competition.
