Nordisk Panorama 2022

Dear friends,

Here we are…..at the end of what has been – yet again – a challenging year for many.
At Nordisk Panorama we have also seen ups and downs. You are all aware of our funding cuts, which so many of you have objected to and helped lobby against.

We are still working on covering the budget hole created by the cuts from the Nordic Council of Ministers. The good news is that many of our funders have stepped up and provided additional funding, so there will be a Nordisk Panorama in 2022!

We can’t be sure what form the festival will take yet, that still depends on finding the last funding to fill the short fall.

You will be the first ones to know when it is clear how we can present the festival and our many other activities next year.

Once again thank you all for your amazing support.

Short Film Day

Winter Solstice falls on 21 December and with the year’s shortest day we want to again celebrate some great Nordic short films.

We put together a “love”- inspired short film programme with a few animations to warm your hearts. Love comes in many shapes and forms and we hope you enjoy it.

The selection features classics like The Danish Poet by Torill Kove, Tango Jalousie by Jannik Hastrup, The Maiden and Soldier by Katariina Lillqvist, A Fairytale of our Time by Inga lísa Middleton and The Tale of Little Puppetboy by Johannes Nyholm.

Without further ado, curl up and enjoy these great Nordic animations.

Nordisk Panorama Offices

We will be closing our offices as of tomorrow Wednesday 22 December and will be back on Monday 3 January.

Wishing you all happy holidays!

Warm regards,
the Nordisk Panorama team
