Rytmi
First, when I was asked to make an episode to “Danish Girls Show Everything”, I said no. I had no ideas, no relation to Danish girls or Denmark /except Carslberg beer and pølse sausages). I felt like somebody who has hardly learnt to dance Finnish tango and was suddenlyu asked to dance samba. But the producer was so stubborn that I finally gave up and promised to make one (obviously they didn’t succeed in hiring Taratino)., Still with no ideas in my mind, I was lucky to meet Lis Dam in Rio de Janeiro. She knew all the dances but told me that samba is something a European can never learn. So there I was again, frustrated, unable to dance samba. But then I was very lucky again. I came upon Imperatiriz Leopoldinense, the best samba school of Rio, of the world; it had won the carnival of Rio twice in a row. So I decided to let samba have at try at least... Rytmi is part of “Danish Girls Show Everything”.
