As soon as the Swedish social democrat Margot Wallström was appointed foreign minister in 2014 she proclaimed that Sweden’s foreign policy would be feminist. Way to go! Wallström was already known as a fearless feminist and an idealist with a sharp mind - and for her humour. And she needs plenty - not all world leaders are thrilled with her humanistic project. We are in for an exciting ride as Wallström mediates at talks involving the United States and North Korea, Saudi Arabia and the Islamic caliphate.
