A game of croquet on a castle lawn. A tuft of grass between two balls creates a dispute between two players. They accuse each another of cheating. Tension mounts, and they look for an independent judge. A young woman delivers a speech which sounds more and more like a sermon. She claims that we must understand the paradox the world is based on: to live, one must die. Only then can there be true contact between people. Part of the project “Contact Shorts” by Ernst Billgren.
