Twenty-two-year-old Vilma prepares for the Theatre Academy entrance exams, exactly as she did last spring. Striving for her place in the world, she finds herself in limbo. A monster is stuck fast within her. Vilma is scared that nobody wants to see a monster like hers on stage in Helsinki. Despite the scary monster, she is getting ready for the exams. We follow her preparations – she dances, explores, sees a psychic, talks to her own reflection in the mirror and has discussions with her friends. She ultimately enters the stage in a reconstructed scene, transforming everything she finds scary into a devastating, living and breathing monster.
