The film follows the director’s story as an adoptee. Set between Denmark’s windswept west coast and the mountains of South Korea, it traces the story of a Danish family hiding domestic violence behind its facade. It imagines the other lives that were erased or, could have been, in Korea. Through interviews, haunting landscapes and a reflective VO, Taekyung pieces together her perspective as the only adoptee in a Danish family – and of a life-long erasure from Korea.
