A Piece of Work

A Piece of Work

A few years ago, Danish-Turkish artist Deniz Eroglu made a short film in Turkey about his friend Huseyin, who was serving a prison sentence. This new work – part comedy, part sociological field study and part artistic self-criticism – is a reenactment of shooting the first film (‘A Vacation’). And about the culture clash between the artist and the locals in the mountain village where the film is set.

This film is playing as part of Sifting Shadows.
