Meet the 2022 Programming Team

Nordisk Panorama is excited to announce the programming team for this year’s festival. Gitte Hansen, independent consultant, tutor and mentor and Hawa Sanneh, producer and co-founder of the diversity platform People Of Film, will serve as documentary programmers. The short film section will be programmed by Sam Groves and Lucile Bourliaud, both from Flatpack Festival. Daniel Lundquist, Head of Programming at BUFF and Susanne Månsson Kandell from the City of Malmö’s Culture Department will programme the Young Nordic section.

We look forward to sharing the fruits of their work at the 2022 festival, so remember to mark your calendar for 22-27 September. Find further details and full bios here.

Call for Projects for NP Forum & Work in Progress

We are happy to announce that submission of projects to Nordisk Panorama Forum for Co-financing of Documentaries and Work in Progress is now open. Check out the guidelines and apply here by the deadline 20 May.

Nordic Docs at Hot Docs + Nordic Discount

Hot Docs has announced their selection for the festival and industry programme, taking place 28 April – 8 May 2022 and we are happy to see more than 20 films with Nordic input in this year’s line-up.

Join the Nordic Delegation to Sheffield DocFest

Going to Sheffield DocFest? We are coordinating the Nordic delegation to UK’s premier documentary marketplace, festival and conference taking place 23-28 June 2022, securing Nordic film professionals access at a 30% discount.

Names in the News

Previously deputy director of Locarno Pro, Sophie Bourdon joins Visions du Réel on 1 July 2022 where she will head VdR-Industry. She succeeds Madeline Robert, who will remain affiliated with the festival in other capacities.
