We are appalled by the war on Ukraine and stand in solidarity with all its people. We join the international film community in condemning this action and encourage everyone to support Ukrainian journalists, artists, and filmmakers as they work hard at doing their jobs.

The people behind the two recent Nordic docs taking place in Eastern Ukraine “A House Made of Splinters” and “The Distant Barking of Dogs” urges everyone to support the NGO Voices of Children. “Without Azad and Lena from the NGO Voice of Children, I could not have done the two films in Ukraine,” argues director Simon Lereng Wilmont who appeals to people to support them and their organisation. “I trust them completely. They are super engaged, and trying to get as much funding as possible not only to help the children and their families find a safe space, but also for basic survival necessities.“ Read the full story on Nordisk Film & TV Fond’s website.

We have signed the IDF support letter together with fellow film organisation from around the globe pleading for a free and just world.
